Theodor Severin Kittelsen (1857–1914)
The exhibition shows original Kittelsen illustrations to the viking saga Hellige Olaf.
More than trolls
Kittelsen is best known for his interpretations of trolls and wood nymphs, but there was so much more to him than that!
He both drew and painted people and nature and, among other things, was a brilliant illustrator, as you will be able to see in the summer exhibition.
The artist enVide neFelibata from Portugal is inspired by Kittelsen, Kragerø and the island Jomfruland.
This summer you can see some of his works in Kittelsenhuset, he is our guest exhibitor.
